Summary
Most ConvertQazi tools run entirely in your browser using WebAssembly. Your files are processed on your device and are never uploaded to our servers. We only collect the minimum data required to operate the service.
Information we collect
- Account data: If you sign in, we store your email address and authentication tokens.
- Conversion history: Signed-in users have file metadata (name, size, tool used, date) saved to their account. File contents are cached locally in your browser only.
- Usage analytics: Aggregated, anonymised page-view and performance data to improve the product.
- Cookies: Essential cookies for authentication. See our Cookie Policy.
What we do NOT collect
- The contents of files you convert or compress in your browser.
- Personal information beyond your email address.
- Payment card details (handled by our PCI-compliant payment processor).
How we use your data
To operate ConvertQazi, authenticate your account, remember your preferences, improve performance and respond to support requests. We never sell your data to third parties.
Third-party services
We use trusted providers for authentication, hosting and analytics. Each is contractually bound to protect your data.
Your rights
You can access, export or delete your account data at any time by emailing privacy@convertqazi.com. EU/UK users have additional rights under GDPR — see our GDPR page.
Data retention
Account data is retained while your account is active. Conversion history metadata is retained for 12 months unless you delete it earlier. Deleted accounts are purged within 30 days.
